  Join us for a barn dance in the heart of Manhattan, in partnership with Works & Process and Manhattan West Plaza!

  For the fourth year, Works & Process, known for its performing arts programming at Guggenheim New York, brings its captivating pop-up dance and music series back to Manhattan West. With live bands, dance lessons, and performances by celebrated New York artists, each week offers something different: from Afro-Latin Dance to Swing, from Contra to Freestyle!

  We’ll be bringing the joy and connection of dance to Midtown. With Carter North calling dances for all levels and the driving tunes of Some Assembly Required, this will be the after-work refresher you didn’t know you needed.

  Free performances take place on Wednesdays in September from 5:00 - 6:15pm on Manhattan West Plaza!

  ALSO, we are hoping to have some experience dancers in the crowd and understand that the timing can be difficult, therefore, the first 10 members to RSVP will receive $50 contingent on being there promptly at 5:00 PM!

  Our annual harvest ball features some of New England’s best contra talent with calling from Will Mentor, and soaring tunes from Paper Plane!

  Paper Plane is a soaring new trio from the greater Boston area comprised of multi-instrumentalists Daniel Raine, Emma Azelborn and Rohan Weeden. Joyous whistle and vocals will have you floating across the dance floor while rocking fiddle melodies and strumming grooves keep you grounded and moving. An evening with Paper Plane ranges from sweet and flowy to driving and triumphant, always connected to the dance.
